Trust must therefore emerge from observable behaviour: identity and ownership signals, accuracy history, fulfilled commitments, transaction outcomes, disputes, reputation signals, economic stake, and consequences for false information.
The goal is not to declare that a claim is perfectly true. It is to make reliability measurable, comparable, and economically accountable.

Closed platforms produce trust through private identity systems, transaction histories, reviews, payments, support, fraud controls, and dispute resolution. Each platform repeats the work, and participants rebuild their reputation from zero every time they enter a new marketplace.
